Our History

Our company was founded by Executive Director Brian Rudd and Chair Jamie Boyton.

We started with two drill rigs on our first exploration project in Tanzania in 2005.

From day one, we focused on delivering exceptional work – doing whatever it took to provide solutions and meet our targets, always with an unwavering commitment to safety and quality.

We quickly earned a reputation for our professionalism and before long, our clients were inviting us to deliver our services to projects across Africa and then around the world. To meet their growing demand, we expanded beyond exploration into production and underground drilling services. 

In 2017 we added cutting-edge laboratory capabilities with the acquisition of MSALABS, bringing fast, accurate geochemical analysis in-house. Two years later, in 2019, we launched our mining division, offering load-and-haul services to support clients through the full mining lifecycle.

More than 20 years on, our guiding principles remain the same – do the job well, do it safely, and always uphold the highest standards of professionalism.
