He was previously an Executive Director and the Head of Asian Equity Syndication and Corporate Broking of Macquarie Securities Limited in Hong Kong.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) degree from the University of Western Australia.
As a founder of the Company, Brian has been instrumental in the successful establishment and development of the Company since 2005 with a focus on business development and client relations.
Brian has nearly 40 years' experience in the mining industry in both Australia and Africa.
Before establishing the Company, Brian held various senior positions for private and listed drilling companies in Australia and Africa.
Brian currently serves as Non-executive Director of Hardy Metals and an adviser to Minexia.
Rick has over 18 years’ experience across corporate finance, M&A advisory and operational finance. Prior to his current role, he was Chief Financial Officer for our laboratory business, MSALABS.
Previously he was the Chief Financial Officer of a project development company with several greenfield assets in Colombia where he developed and ran the finance function. He was formerly an investment banker with Barclays where he was focused on the mining sector.
Rick qualified as an ACA (ICAEW) with Deloitte in the UK working across Transaction Services and Audit. He holds a Masters in Civil Engineering from Durham University, UK.
Stuart has over 25 years' experience in both mining and mining service companies. This experience covers many countries, commodities and mining methods. His roles have ranged from Driller's Offsider to Mine Manager and JV Board Director.
Prior to joining Capital, Stuart was Customer Solutions Manager accountable for the Marketing and Commercial activities in Orica’s Australia-Pacific business.
Stuart has a consistent track record of finding and creating value in the drill and blast arena and further down the mining value chain.
Stuart has a degree in Exploration and Mining Geology and a Masters in Engineering Project Management. He is also a member of the AusIMM.
Jodie has 20 years' experience in both underground and surface operations, in both hardrock and softrock mining. He joined Capital as Country Manager, Egypt and has held roles various leadership positions before the appointment to his current role in January 2025.
He was previously Aftermarket Operations Manager, West Africa for Sandvik where he was responsible for the effective delivery of aftermarket services to Sandvik customers across all segments in West Africa.
André is a senior finance leader with more than 25 years’ experience across the mining and telecoms sectors. His expertise includes financial and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdications.
Most recently he held the role of Chief Financial Officer for SFTP/Corica Mining. Prior to this he held roles as CFO, Deputy CFO and Commercial Manager LATAM for Capital Limited.
André holds a Bachelor of Accountancy Degree from the University of the Free State, as well as an Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting from CIMA.
Tony is an Executive Manager with more than 30 years’ experience in maintenance and business development leadership roles for surface and underground mining operations across Australia, Asia Pacific, USA and Africa.
Tony has led the company’s asset and maintenance strategy since 2011. He delivered the acquisition and commissioning of the company’s first mining fleet for the Sukari waste mining contract, the largest in the company’s history, six months ahead of schedule, and has implemented maintenance management systems and protocols throughout the group.
His expertise includes strategic programs, project management, compliance, network building and team empowerment, employing a hands-on approach to ensure concepts become operational successes.
Furqan is a Global Human Resources Leader with 20 years’ of experience spanning Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas.
Furqan has a deep understanding of strategic HR leadership across diverse markets. With expertise in talent management, organisational development, compliance, and cross-cultural workforce strategies, he has successfully led HR transformation initiatives that drive business growth, operational excellence and skill transfer to local markets.
Furqan has played a key role in shaping the company’s HR strategy, fostering a strong corporate culture, and implementing best-in-class people management practices. A strong advocate for employee engagement and leadership development, he employs a hands-on approach to fostering high-performing teams, enhancing compliance frameworks, and building global networks that support sustainable business success.
Furqan holds a MCIPD certification, a Commerce and Business degree, and an MBA.
David is a senior commercial manager with over 29 years' experience across the mining, legal and financial services sectors.
David joined the company as Group Financial Controller before becoming CFO and taking a lead role in listing the company on London Stock Exchange in June 2010. He has also held the roles of Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Operating Officer prior to assuming the role of General Manager, Commercial.
Previously David held roles as General Manager of an Australian based national law firm in addition to holding a number of senior managerial roles with Zurich Financial Services Australia.
David holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Murdoch University and a Graduate Diploma in Insurance from Deakin University.
Mark has more than 25 years’ experience working with large multinational and private laboratory companies in executive leadership roles across the mining, environmental and oil and gas sectors, in multiple geographies.
Prior to joining Capital/MSALABS, Mark was Vice President of Operations for SGS leading the Environmental Testing Business in the United States. He has held roles as Managing Director for ALS, leading the startup and development of a new global laboratory business and he was the Director of the Eastern Hemisphere for Weatherford Laboratories overseeing all aspects of the business across the Eastern hemisphere.
Mark has proven leadership and strategic planning and execution experience leading expansion, technology commercialization, and turnaround efforts. He is passionate about building systems to measure and improve performance and assembling top tier teams to execute.
Mark holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
Lucy is an experienced finance professional with more than 10 years’ experience across the mining, manufacturing, and advisory sectors. Her expertise includes operational finance and regulatory compliance across Africa, the Middle East, and North America.
Lucy has previously held the role of Group Financial Controller at Capital Limited, playing a pivotal role in the financial oversight of financial reporting and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow management and internal controls establishment and management.
Prior to joining Capital, she held the role of Audit Senior at EY Zimbabwe's Audit and Advisory division, where she managed clients in the mining and insurance sectors.
Lucy is a qualified Certified Chartered Accountant (CCA) of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA UK) and holds an Honors Degree in Accounting.
